La Tierra vista desde el Cielo, presentada por Yann Arthus-Bertrand, el fotógrafo célebre a nivel mundial por sus libros y por sus exposiciones, retrata el estado medioambiental de nuestro planeta. Grabado con cámaras HDCam, La Tierra vista desde el Cielo nos ofrece imágenes nunca vistas, con una calidad sin igual y un trabajo de pre-producción riguroso y detallado, que han dado como resultado uno de los mejores documentales sobre el Planeta Tierra.
La alta definición se ha conseguido también con estabilizadores de imagen y con medios técnicos excepcionales gracias a las cámaras Cineflex suspendidas en los helicópteros y giroestabilizadas con objetivos de Alta Definición.
El resultado es que La Tierra vista desde el Cielo ofrece unas imágenes con una calidad sin igual.
Como para la grabación de las imágenes se ha utilizado avionetas y helicópteros, que son emisores de gases de efecto invernadero, Arthus-Bertrand decidió participar en el programa Acción Carbono financiando programas de repoblación forestal de economías de energías renovables.
La Tierra vista desde el Cielo comprueba, denuncia sin catastrofismos innecesarios pero a la vez sin concesiones, los problemas a solucionar y a la vez los esfuerzos de todas aquellas personas voluntarías que se esfuerzan día a día para luchar por la supervivencia del planeta y para preservar la Tierra para las futuras generaciones.
