Chickenfoot reúne los talentos de ex-Van Halen Sammy Hagar miembros (guitarra y voz) y Michael Anthony (bajo), Smith Red Hot Chilli Peppers baterista Chad y el legendario héroe de la guitarra Joe Satriani. Reunirse inicialmente a finales de 2008 lanzaron su álbum debut homónimo en la primavera de 2009 a la aclamación unánime de la crítica y de ventas espectaculares. Con su pedigrí combinado fueron siempre va a ser una gran banda en vivo y el lanzamiento del álbum fue seguido inevitablemente por fechas de sus conciertos en Europa y América del Norte. Este show fue filmado en el Dodge Theater en Phoenix, Arizona el 23 de septiembre y demuestra que la química en el escenario entre los cuatro artistas es algo realmente especial.
