The recently deceased, American musician and producer, HARDY FOX belongs to(e) of the co-founders of the legendary San Francisco Cult band THE RESIDENTS, which since the end of the sixties, with seemingly bizarre, stylistically, is extremely free-spirited Mix of Jazz, Rock, electronic, avant-garde and electronic music to the present day to make a splash.

In 2015, the Texas-raised musician withdrew for health reasons from the Band, tour life, but worked still as a (main), composer for the group. In addition, he has published in the course of his career, numerous solo albums under different artist pseudonyms such as CHARLES BOBUCK, COMBO MECHANICO, CHUCK, or TAR.
