After three studio albums and more than a decade in the music business, THE INTERRUPTERS present their new album "In The Wild". This 14-track opus is the real deal; it's a story of survival, a story of resilience, of a band being brave and resisting the easy impulses to simply repeat what worked before.

During the lockdown, Aimee Interrupter, her partner and guitarist Kevin Bivona, and his younger twin brothers Jesse (drums) and Justin (bass) decided to put their idle hands to work. After building a home studio together in their garage, Kevin took over the production duties and became the "man in charge" this . The album took shape in a casual and organic manner, and the recording process was obviously fun, which is reflected in the album's sound, which glides through a spectrum of breathless punk rock, doo-wop, gospel, dancehall, and the band's usual allusions to the tradition of the two-tone sound. This is also evident in the upbeat vibe and the dazzling list of guests involved (Tim Armstrong, Rhoda Dakar, Hepcat, The Skints).

Thanks to the intimate environment they created and the relaxed way they worked, the result is the most personal Interrupters album to date and the one to which all four feel most connected. It's the follow-up to their breakthrough 2018 album "Fight The Good Fight," which spawned several singles, including "She's Kerosene," which has been streamed over 50 million s to date. This smash hit sent the band to the top of radio charts around the world, playing live with everyone from Dropkick Murphys to Green Day.

In the spring of 2020, the band was on their way to an 8-week Hella mega-stadium tour supporting Green Day, Weezer, and Fall Out Boy in the U.S. when, like the rest of the world, their plans fell through. The forced at home gave them a much-needed break, followed by an injection of creative energy that led the band to write over 80 songs, a live album and curate a documentary about their lives and their first trip to Japan.
