Final Cut Express 4 - the new version of the popular video editing application , which occupies a niche somewhere between iMovie and Final Cut Pro.
According to an official press release , Final Cut Express 4 now supports the latest camera AVCHD, allows for a project to use the content in SD and HD, import iMovie '08 projects and is fully compatible with plugins FxPlug, which means hundreds of new cinematic effects and filters quality.


"For more than a million video editors chose Final Cut platform to work on their projects ," said Rob staples (Rob Schoeben), Apple's vice president of marketing applications. " With the launch of Final Cut Express 4 to join the rapidly growing community of Final Cut editors even easier ."
As the top manager of Cupertino, projects can now easily mix the material in the format of DV, HDV and AVCHD ( in the latter case required Intel- Macs ) with resolutions up to 1080i or 720p. In this case the application itself performs the necessary scaling and frame rate synchronization .
